Description :
1) Model Φ6mm : 6mm (0.23inch) diameter two groove.
2) ModelΦ10mm : 10mm (0.39inch) diameter two groove
* Outer size : 10T x 10W x 40L (mm) , 0.39T x 0.39W x 1.57L (inch) per each piece.
3) Production :
* Finishing : 2~3 kinds of premium German natural oil applied.
* Material quality : processed with sound squares selected very strictly from 5~7 years
air-dried blocks in Korea after import from East Africa.
* There are some distribution of wood grain & color in part due to natural material.
4) Packing : Mpingo pair (6mm or 10mm),
M3x30mm L stainless bolt pair as base for Φ6mm & Φ10mm groove.
M3x40mm L stainless bolt pair for Φ16mm (in case of many pcs order, 1/3~1/2 pcs of Mpingo pair as random).
Allen wrench 1ea per order.
Application:
1) Model Φ6mm : for almost interconnect cable
2) Model Φ10mm : for speaker cable or power cable
3) Model Φ16mm : for big diameter speaker cable or power cable
==> Typical change by control tightening force is volume sense of bass.
More tightening the cable, bass become more tighten.
But, in case of over tightening, bass goes to too dry or can be dull.
And so, be control carefully its tightening force suitable for your own audio system.
About material : African blackwood (Mpingo)
-. Mpingo : Swahili name of African Blackwood ( Swahili : East African local language)
Botanical name : Dalbergia melanoxylon, Density(air-dry) : 1.3
-. African blackwood listed by CITES as a protected wood since Jan. 2017.
(CITES : Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora)
But, all our raw materials of this wood species were imported in Korea legally from Tanzania on 2002~2004.

-. Mpingo is much different species from Ebony wood.
Ebony : Botanical name : Diospyros spp. (Ebenaseae), about 200 kinds of species.
Density(air-dry) : 0.9~1.0
-. Mpingo is renowned for its lots of defects like cracks, splits, knots, worm holes, etc. in the log itself,
and so result in very poor cutting yield ratio to certain size.
